you reap what you sow

This past Christmas we received a really awesome gift from Josh and Shannon (brother and sister-in-law). They gave us a comprehensive collection of seeds. And pictured below isn't even all of them.

Needless to say, we're starting our own garden. In fact, we've already started.

We planted our onions back in February, and they are coming out!

The lighting in the pictures makes them look like they're dying. They're probably not doing that great, since we don't have much sun here yet, but I'm just excited they actually sprouted! I will add some fertilizer soon.

This week I will be planting pepper seeds. Wish me luck!
