Hello Everyone! A lot has happened this month so I'm glad I'm finally able to get a little update posted.First of all, my cousin Caroline and her husband Josue had their baby, Jaden, on October 3rd. Caroline's mother, Aunt Joyce, was here for the delivery and it was great to spend time with her while she was here.

Second, we watched the General Conference held by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Truly a lot of great messages were shared by Church leaders that were not just about religion, but how we can become better people, parents, and citizens, in an increasingly scary world. I know that even if you're not a member of this church, you would still benefit from these messages. The Sunday sessions are especially good. Third, Caleb and I have been making it a priority to watch the Presidential debates. We also watched part of the Vice Presidential debate. I wasn't able to watch the last debate live, so I just finished watching a video recording of it. It is clear that both of these candidates have very different views on how to lead this country. It was difficult sometimes to filter all of the verbal mudslinging, but overall I felt that the debates were very informative on their views. I encourage you to be proactive and learn what both of these men are proposing for our nation. I'll probably go on their websites and read more in depth about their plans for the country. It's getting colder now, but for the last two months, I was helping a close friend tend her garden. Being from Arizona, I never had a garden. It was a really rewarding experience to help a plant grow and also reap the rewards of it. It gives one a sense of accomplishment. Maybe someday I will have a garden of my own.
